Time for another Urbex trip to Belgium. Here I visited multiple forts around Liege, visited the abandoned Power Plant IM in Charleroi, saw an abandoned swimming pool, train station and sanatorium and visited some old mines.

The “Route Industriekultur” are old industrial sites in the Ruhr area in Germany that are converted into museums. Great for urban industrial photography. This time I visited the railroad museum in Bochem, Heinrichshutte in Hattingen (an old steel plant) and a quick stop at the Tetraeder in Bottrob. Check the Urban Industrial galley.

One of the best Urbex locations is Agnes Dei in Belgium. This old sanatorium with little church was abandoned in 2002 and put on sale, after a fire the sale fell through and it was left to nature. Check it out in the Urban gallery.




Plus a visit to Dolhain, Belgium for another abandoned Sanatorium (Urban gallery).




And finally an old cemetery in Verviers.

Part of the German Ruhr area, the Landschaftpark (Landscape park) Duisberg-Nord is an old out-of-use factory complex that has been converted to an amusement park / museum. Great place for some urban photography.
